An established independent dental practice in Braintree is looking to appoint an Associate Dentist to join its experienced and welcoming clinical team. This is a well-balanced mixed role, offering a strong combination of NHS and private dentistry within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

• Broad treatment offering including general, cosmetic, and advanced dentistry
• Private services including implants, Invisalign, and aesthetic treatments
• Supportive team culture with informal mentoring available
• Dentally software in use for efficient workflow
• Loyal patient base with increasing private uptake

📅 Working Pattern

• Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Total: 36 hours per week
• Flexibility available (minimum 25 hours considered)

This structure provides a stable and varied clinical diary across both NHS and private work.

💷 Remuneration

• £24 per UDA (gross)
• 50% private fee split
• Strong potential for growth in private income
• Balanced NHS/private mix with flexibility

🦷 Role Overview

You will be delivering high-quality general dentistry within a mixed practice setting, with the opportunity to gradually expand into more private and advanced treatments.

The practice actively supports clinicians who wish to develop their skills in areas such as:

• Implants
• Orthodontics (including Invisalign)
• Cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry

👤 Ideal Candidate

Essential:

• GDC registered with eligibility to work in the UK
• Confident in general dentistry within a mixed NHS/private environment
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Reliable, professional, and ethical approach to practice

Desirable:

• Interest in developing private treatments
• Motivation to grow clinical skills over time
• Open to guidance and ongoing professional development
