📌 The Role:
- Position: Head Dental Nurse
- Employment Term: Permanent
- Practice Type: Private (4 surgeries, small team)
- Days: Monday – Friday (no weekends)
- Hours: 08:30 – 17:45
- Software: SOE
- Dentistry: General & Cosmetic (including dedicated cosmetic days)
- £18 per hour initially
- £19 per hour after 6 months, upon successfully taking on full responsibilities (including CQC duties) 💸
- Ongoing annual salary review

- Modern systems and workflows using SOE software

- Leading and supporting the dental nursing team in daily operations
- Providing high-quality chairside assistance across general and cosmetic treatments
- Taking an active role in practice compliance and CQC processes (full training provided if needed)
- Ensuring high standards of cross-infection control and clinical governance
- Supporting the smooth and efficient running of surgeries and clinical workflows
- Acting as a key point of contact between clinicians and nursing staff
- Contributing to a positive, organised, and professional team culture
Essential:
- GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- 2–3 years’ clinical experience
- Reliable, organised, and confident in a busy practice setting
- Willingness to take on CQC responsibilities and develop compliance knowledge
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role
- Exposure to CQC processes or compliance responsibilities
- Interest in practice management or team leadership development
- ASAP
