Locum Dentist — Maternity Cover Wincanton, Somerset
We are looking for an experienced Locum Dentist to cover a period of maternity leave at a well-established mixed practice in Wincanton, Somerset.
Start date: 13 July 2026 Duration: 9 months Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (1 hour lunch)

Pay: £13 per UDA (approx 30 UDAs/day) 
The role
This is a full-time position covering a busy but manageable mixed list. The practice sees a good blend of NHS and private patients, and the outgoing dentist has built a loyal and well-maintained patient base.
Requirements

• GDC registered
• Valid performer number
• Experience in general dentistry across both NHS and private
• Confident working independently within an established team

The practice
A friendly, well-run practice with a supportive clinical team. Based in Wincanton — a small market town in Somerset, with easy access from the surrounding area.
