Location: West Hampstead (NW6)
Salary: £14–£15 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join a brand-new private dental practice opening in West Hampstead in August 2026.
This is an exciting chance to become part of the team from day one and play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience within a modern, high-quality dental environment. The practice will provide both general and specialist dentistry, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
The Role As Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice. You will provide a warm, professional and efficient service while supporting the wider clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–8:00pm
Saturdays: 10:00am–4:00pm (1–2 Saturdays per month)
Essential:
Although your main base will be the West Hampstead (NW6) practice, there may be occasional opportunities to support the Islington or Maida Vale locations, so flexibility would be advantageous.

- Welcoming patients and providing an excellent front-of-house experience
- Managing appointments, enquiries and patient communications
- Handling patient records and updating information accurately
- Processing payments and supporting financial administration
- Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Providing a high level of customer service to private patients
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–8:00pm
- Rotating early and late shifts (2 early shifts, 2 late shifts)
- Flexible shift lengths available (6 or 8 hours)
Saturdays: 10:00am–4:00pm (1–2 Saturdays per month)
- If you work a Saturday, you will receive a weekday off, ensuring a 5-day working week
Essential:
- Previous dental reception experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A professional and friendly approach with patients
- The ability to work confidently in a busy private dental environment
- Experience using Dentally dental software
- Previous experience within private dentistry
