Are you a confident Associate Dentist looking for a private role where you can step straight into an established and mature patient list?

An excellent opportunity has become available to join a modern, state-of-the-art 5-surgery private dental practice in North Somerset, offering a varied clinical environment, excellent facilities and a supportive team.

This position is offered on a Fixed-Term Contract until June 2027, with the potential for the role to become permanent, although this cannot be guaranteed at this stage.

With Thursdays and Fridays available every week, you'll be joining an established patient list, giving you the opportunity to build strong continuity with patients while developing your clinical interests across general, cosmetic and advanced dentistry.

There is some flexibility around the working hours, with the practice happy to discuss slightly earlier or later starts and alternative arrangements such as working through lunch where appropriate.

💷 Remuneration

50% private revenue split

You'll benefit from an established and mature private patient list, providing strong continuity and the opportunity to build a productive diary from the outset.

You'll have the opportunity to provide a varied range of private dentistry, including:

General Dentistry
Periodontics
Endodontics
Invisalign
Cosmetic Dentistry

This makes the role particularly well suited to a dentist with strong general dentistry skills who also enjoys or has an interest in developing advanced and aesthetic treatments.

🧩 Your Responsibilities

As an Associate Dentist, you'll:

Manage and treat an established private patient list
Deliver high-quality general and private dentistry
Carry out comprehensive examinations and treatment planning
Provide periodontal, endodontic, Invisalign and cosmetic treatments where appropriate
Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
Discuss treatment options clearly and ethically
Maintain accurate digital clinical records using Exact
Provide an exceptional patient experience
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team
Maintain consistently high standards of clinical care

Essential

✔ GDC-registered Dentist
✔ Reliable and professional
✔ Confident providing high-end general dentistry
✔ Excellent communication and patient management skills
✔ Strong commitment to patient-centred care
✔ Comfortable working within a fully private environment

Desirable

⭐ 1–2 years' post-qualification experience
⭐ Experience with Invisalign
⭐ Cosmetic dentistry experience
⭐ Periodontal experience
⭐ Endodontic experience

The practice is ideally looking for a dentist with around 1–2 years' experience, although the key requirement is confidence in delivering high-quality general dentistry.
