📍 Watford | Full-Time | Up to £17 per Hour
A thriving mixed dental practice in Watford is looking for a dedicated Head Dental Nurse to join its experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Dental Nurse who enjoys leading others, driving high standards, and playing a key role in the day-to-day success of a busy practice.
Working alongside an established clinical team, you'll be instrumental in supporting both patient care and practice operations while helping to develop and motivate the nursing team.
🌟 What You'll Be Doing
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting the Dental Nursing team
• Coordinating audits and assisting with CQC compliance
• Managing stock levels and ensuring clinical areas remain well organised
• Providing chairside support two days per week, alongside holiday and sickness cover
• Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the practice
🏥 Practice Highlights
✨ Established 6-surgery mixed practice
✨ Approximately 30% NHS and 70% private
✨ Modern, digital practice using Dentally software
✨ Treatments include Implants, Invisalign, and Teeth Whitening
✨ Ongoing support from an experienced Regional Practice Manager
👤 About You
✔️ GDC-registered Dental Nurse
✔️ Minimum 3 years' Dental Nursing experience
✔️ Strong organisational and leadership skills
✔️ Confident, reliable, and proactive approach
✔️ Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
⭐ Additional experience in Implant Nursing or a previous Head/Lead Nurse position would be highly advantageous
💷 Package
• Up to £17 per hour
