We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Dental Nurse to become part of a friendly and supportive team in North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a Foundation Dentist, providing exceptional clinical support while helping to guide and develop a newly qualified clinician.

📍 Location: North Yorkshire
🦷 Position: Dental Nurse
📅 Contract: Full-Time
🏥 Practice: Mixed Dental Practice (NHS treatment for children)
🗓️ Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
⏰ Hours: 07:45am – 5:30pm
💻 Practice Software: Dentally
😁 Clinical Focus: General Dentistry
💷 Salary: £15.50 per hour
🚀 Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential-
✔ GDC Registered Dental Nurse
✔ Recognised Dental Nursing qualification
✔ Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
✔ Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Reliable, organised, and patient-centred approach
Desirable-
⭐ Experience using Dentally software
⭐ Previous experience supporting Foundation Dentists
⭐ Mentoring or coaching experience within a clinical setting
⭐ Positive attitude and team-focused mindset

- Provide chairside assistance across a range of general dental procedures.
- Support a Foundation Dentist in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ensure excellent standards of infection prevention, compliance, and clinical governance.
- Prepare surgeries, instruments, and materials for treatment sessions.
- Build positive relationships with patients, helping them feel relaxed and supported throughout their visits.
- Contribute to the professional development and confidence of a newly qualified clinician.
- Work closely with the wider team to maintain efficient clinical workflows.
Essential-
