🦷 Dental Nurse Opportunity – Mixed Practice (NHS & Private)
Permanent | 4 Days per Week | ASAP
A friendly and well-established 3-surgery mixed dental practice is looking to recruit a reliable and proactive Dental Nurse to join its supportive clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, team-focused environment with a strong orthodontic and hygiene-led workflow.
✨ Overview of the Role
• 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday preferred)
• Mixed NHS and private practice (approx. 50/50 split)
• Permanent position
• £14.00–£15.00 per hour (higher for radiography-qualified nurses)
• 3-surgery, close-knit team environment
🗓 Working Pattern
• Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 08:30 – 18:00
• Thursday: 08:30 – 19:00
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Consistent 4-day week with long weekends
🦷 Clinical Focus
This role is primarily centred around:
• Orthodontic treatments
• Hygienist-led clinics
You’ll be working with Exact dental software in a structured, efficient clinical environment.
💼 Key Responsibilities
• Chairside support for orthodontic procedures
• Assisting hygienist appointments
• Preparing and maintaining surgeries
• Ensuring high standards of cross-infection control
• Supporting smooth clinic flow
• Contributing to wider team efficiency where needed
👩⚕️ Candidate Requirements
Essential:
• GDC-registered Dental Nurse
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Positive, team-focused attitude
• Willing to be hands-on and adaptable
Desirable:
• Orthodontic experience or interest in developing in ortho
• Radiography qualification (enhanced salary available)
