Our thriving 7-surgery mixed practice in Eastbourne is expanding, with new clinicians joining the team, and we’re now looking for a skilled Dental Nurse who can hit the ground running.

💼 Position Details
  • Job Title: Dental Nurse
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 3 days per week)
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 08:30–17:30 (08:15 start for surgery setup)
  • Saturdays: Very occasional, as required
  • Start Date: ASAP – practice expansion in progress
  • Location: Eastbourne (free parking available)
🦷 About the Practice

We are a long-standing, welcoming 7-surgery mixed practice providing a wide range of treatments, including:
  • General Dentistry
  • Orthodontics
  • Whitening
  • Implantology
  • Support from Dental Therapists & Hygienists
Software: R4 (Clinical Plus)

🌟 What We’re Looking For Essential:
  • Qualified Dental Nurse (no trainees)
  • Confident and experienced, able to settle in quickly
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional
  • Happy to focus primarily on nursing, with occasional reception cover
  • Exceptional applicants close to qualification will be considered
Desirable:
  • Experience using R4 software
🪥 Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside support for dentists, hygienists, therapists, and visiting specialists
  • Daily surgery setup and close-down
  • Maintaining high standards of cross-infection control
  • Instrument sterilisation and preparation
  • Assisting with orthodontic, implant, and general procedures
  • Accurate updating of patient notes and ensuring smooth patient flow
  • Occasional reception cover when required
  • Delivering calm, friendly, and reassuring care to every patient
