We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Dental Nurse to join our friendly and well-established dental practice in Alderney. Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:45am – 5:30pm
- 43.75 hours per week
- One Saturday per month (rota-based)
As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting both patients and clinicians. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing, sterilising, and maintaining instruments in line with HTM 01-05 and infection control standards
- Ensuring surgeries are fully stocked, clean, and ready for use
- Supporting patient comfort, reassurance, and aftercare
- Accurate clinical note-taking and record management using Dentally software
- Assisting with decontamination processes and cross-infection control
- Supporting the clinical team with smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Adhering to CQC, GDC, and practice policies at all times
- Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration (or trainee with relevant experience, if applicable)
- Confident using Dentally software
- Strong understanding of infection control and clinical compliance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organised, and professional
- Flexible to work one Saturday per month
