Dental Nurse – Specialist Orthodontic Private Practice (Full-Time)

📍 Expanding Private Practice | On-Site Parking
🕒 37.5 hours per week | Permanent
💷 £14.00 – £17.00 per hour (DOE & qualifications)

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and motivated Dental Nurse to join a forward-thinking private orthodontic practice on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse who enjoys specialist dentistry, wants to deepen their orthodontic skillset, and is looking to work in a modern, well-structured environment where clinical excellence and staff wellbeing are genuinely valued.

This role would suit a Dental Nurse with at least 1–2 years post-qualification experience who is either already working in orthodontics or keen to specialise further.

Working Pattern
  • Monday - Friday: 37.5 hours per week - no weekends!
This is a well-planned diary structure, allowing nurses to work efficiently without feeling rushed, while supporting high-quality patient care.

About the Practice

This is a specialist-led private practice with a strong reputation and a growing patient base.
  • Focus on Orthodontics and Airflow Hygiene
  • 2 modern, fully equipped surgeries
  • Uses OrthoBridge software
  • Dedicated reception team — nurses are very rarely required on reception
  • On-site parking
  • Actively expanding with strong demand and growth plans
  • Modern branding and strong online presence
Clinical Exposure & Development

You will gain hands-on experience in:
  • Fixed orthodontic appliances
  • Invisalign and aligner systems
  • Orthodontic workflows and patient journeys
  • Airflow hygiene support
  • Working alongside orthodontists and orthodontic therapists
This is an excellent environment for nurses who want to build long-term specialist skills rather than remain purely general.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside support for orthodontic and hygiene procedures
  • Preparing surgeries and maintaining exceptional infection control standards
  • Accurate clinical note-taking and record management using OrthoBridge
  • Supporting patient communication, education, and aftercare
  • Working collaboratively with clinicians, therapists, and the wider team
  • Maintaining high professional and regulatory standards at all times
About You Essential
  • GDC-registered Dental Nurse with 1–2 years’ experience
  • Confident, organised, and patient-focused
  • Comfortable working in a specialist environment
Highly Desirable
  • Orthodontic nursing experience
  • Radiography qualification
  • Experience with Invisalign and fixed braces
What’s on Offer
  • £14.00 – £17.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Bonus scheme
  • Access to in-house treatment
  • Airflow hygiene for all staff twice per year
  • Minimal reception duties
  • Supportive, specialist-led team
  • Opportunity to grow within an expanding private practice
