We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our friendly and well-established dental practice. This role includes a 3-month handover period, providing full support to ensure a smooth and confident transition into the position.

📍 About the Practice
  • Type: Predominantly NHS (approx. 90%), with a growing private patient base
  • Dentistry: General Dentistry
  • Software: EXACT
  • Working Pattern:
    • Days: Monday – Friday
    • Hours: 08:30 – 17:30 (with 1–2 breaks for lunch)
💷 Salary
  • £15–£16 per hour for the first month
  • Salary increase following successful trial and progression over subsequent months
🔑 The Role

As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management and long-term success of the practice. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overall operational management of the dental practice
  • Ensuring full compliance with NHS regulations, CQC standards, HTM 01-05, GDPR, and health & safety requirements
  • Managing NHS contracts, UDAs, and performance monitoring
  • Staff management including recruitment, training, appraisals, rotas, and ongoing development
  • Leading and motivating the team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Overseeing patient journey, complaints handling, and patient satisfaction
  • Financial oversight including budgets, targets, stock control, and liaising with accountants and external suppliers
  • Supporting the gradual expansion of private dentistry within the practice
  • Maintaining accurate records and effective use of EXACT dental software
✅ Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Dental Practice Manager within NHS dentistry
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Confident leadership and staff training skills
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using EXACT software (highly desirable)
