We are seeking a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with strong communication skills to join a friendly, private dental practice on a permanent basis. This is a varied and rewarding dual-role position, combining clinical nursing with front-of-house reception duties, ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction and being involved in all aspects of practice life.
The practice has four surgeries, a close-knit team, and a genuine reputation for looking after its staff.

Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Hours: 8:30am – 5:45pm
- Start date: ASAP
- Private practice with 4 modern surgeries
- Small, supportive, and well-organised team
- Mix of general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry (2 days per week)
- Strong focus on patient experience and team wellbeing
- Uses SOE dental software
This is a split role supporting both the clinical and reception teams, including:
Dental Nursing Duties
- Chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries to high clinical standards
- Instrument decontamination and infection control compliance
- Accurate clinical notes and patient records using SOE
- Supporting patient comfort, reassurance, and aftercare
- Welcoming patients and managing front-of-house interactions
- Booking appointments and managing diaries
- Handling patient enquiries in person and by phone
- Processing payments and supporting the patient journey
- GDC registered Dental Nurse
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
- Confident communicator with a friendly manner
- Experience as a Treatment Coordinator (TCO)
- Comfortable balancing clinical and reception responsibilities
- £16 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Permanent role in a private practice
