Location: Great Yarmouth
Salary: £13.30 – £14.75 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday & Friday, 8:15am – 5:15pm
Contract: Permanent, Part Time

The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join a friendly and professional dental practice in Great Yarmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dental Nurse looking for a new part-time position within a supportive practice that places a strong emphasis on patient care, professional development and teamwork.

The practice is also open to considering Trainee Dental Nurses who are looking to build a long-term career within dentistry.

The Role As a Dental Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting dentists and clinicians during a range of dental procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms to a high clinical standard
  • Providing patients with a welcoming and comfortable experience
  • Following strict infection prevention and control procedures
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Working closely with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
About YouFor a Qualified Dental Nurse, you will ideally have:
  • A recognised Dental Nursing qualification
  • Current GDC registration
  • Previous experience working within a dental practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and professional approach to patient care
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A positive, proactive attitude
Additional qualifications such as Dental Radiography or Oral Health Education would be welcomed but are not essential.

Training and support will be provided through an appropriate apprenticeship or recognised diploma programme.
