A well-established dental practice in Lancashire is looking to welcome a confident and reliable Dental Nurse to its clinical team. This is a varied role within a modern practice, offering exposure to general, cosmetic and advanced dentistry, including implants, Invisalign and endodontics.

With the option to work 4 or 5 days per week, this could suit a Dental Nurse looking for a long-term role with plenty of clinical variety and opportunities to broaden their experience.

🕒 Working Hours

The practice operates Monday–Saturday:
  • Monday: 09:00–17:00
  • Tuesday: 09:00–19:00
  • Wednesday: 09:00–17:00
  • Thursday: 09:00–17:00
  • Friday: 09:00–17:00
  • Saturday: 09:00–15:00 – 1 in 3 rota
There is flexibility around the working week, with the practice happy to consider candidates looking for either 4 or 5 days per week.

🦷 A Varied Clinical Caseload

One of the key attractions of the position is the variety of dentistry you'll be exposed to.

Depending on the diary, you'll have the opportunity to support clinicians with:
  • General Dentistry
  • Invisalign
  • Dental Implants
  • Endodontics
This makes the role particularly suited to a Dental Nurse who wants to strengthen their experience within private, cosmetic and advanced dentistry.

You don't need to have experience across every treatment area. A solid foundation in Dental Nursing, enthusiasm and a willingness to continue learning are the priorities.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the clinical team, you'll provide effective chairside support while helping to maintain a high standard of patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Chairside assistance across general and advanced dentistry
  • Supporting implant, Invisalign and endodontic procedures
  • Preparing surgeries and clinical equipment
  • Maintaining excellent infection prevention and cross-contamination standards
  • Ensuring surgeries remain clean, organised and fully prepared
  • Supporting smooth and efficient patient flow
  • Providing patients with a professional and reassuring experience
  • Working closely with dentists and the wider clinical team
  • Maintaining high clinical standards
  • Following relevant CQC and practice protocols
👤 About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable and patient-focused Dental Nurse who takes pride in their clinical work and enjoys contributing to a team environment.

Essential requirements:
  • ✔️ GDC-registered Dental Nurse
  • ✔️ Previous Dental Nursing experience
  • ✔️ Reliable and well organised
  • ✔️ Professional and proactive approach
  • ✔️ Strong communication skills
  • ✔️ Excellent patient-care skills
  • ✔️ Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • ✔️ Committed to maintaining high clinical standards
Experience within the following areas would be advantageous:
  • Private dentistry
  • Dental implants
  • Invisalign

  • Advanced dentistry
  • Cosmetic dentistry
You do not need experience in every area. If you're an experienced Dental Nurse with strong core skills and an interest in developing further within private dentistry, the practice would be keen to hear from you.

💷 Salary & Hours

£14.00–£17.00 per hour DOE

The practice can accommodate either:

4 days per week or 5 days per week
