Practice Manager – Private Dental Practice (Part-Time)

We are seeking an experienced and commercially aware Practice Manager to join a progressive private dental practice on a part-time basis. This is a key leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, business development, and driving high standards across both clinical and non-clinical teams.

The role offers flexibility on working days, which will be agreed at interview, and the opportunity to have a real impact on the growth and performance of the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 2–3 days per week
  • 25–30 hours per week
  • Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Set days to be discussed at interview
  • Start date: ASAP
About the Practice This is a busy, high-quality private practice delivering a broad range of dentistry, including:
  • General Dentistry
  • Specialist Orthodontics
  • Implants
  • Endodontics
The practice is well-established with a strong reputation and is focused on continued growth, efficiency, and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

As Practice Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management and strategic development of the practice, including:
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Leading, motivating, and managing the practice team
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC, HR, and regulatory requirements
  • Managing rotas, workflows, and operational performance
  • Using Exact / Kodak R4 or similar dental software to monitor activity and performance
  • Supporting revenue growth, patient journey improvements, and service development
  • Working closely with clinicians to enhance productivity and patient experience
  • Implementing systems and processes to improve efficiency and profitability
About You (Essential)
  • Proven experience managing a dental practice or in a senior operational role
  • Strong working knowledge of Exact dental software
  • Background as a Practice Manager within the Dental industry
  • Commercially minded with a passion for growing and improving a business
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Confident managing people, processes, and performance
Desirable Experience
  • Ability or willingness to support occasional weekend working
  • Business or management qualifications
  • Experience driving practice growth, marketing, or service development
