Working Hours
- Monday: 10:45 AM – 8:15 PM
- Tuesday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
- Total Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours
- Days: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Practice Type Private Dental Practice
- Salary £16 per hour (dependent on experience)
You’ll be joining a supportive team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and a friendly, patient-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists during general, implant, and endodontic procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of infection control and ensure all clinical areas and equipment are cleaned and prepared to practice standards.
- Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for patient treatments.
- Record clinical notes and ensure patient records are accurately maintained on Software of Excellence (SOE).
- Support the smooth running of the surgery, anticipating the needs of clinicians and patients.
- Provide reassurance and support to patients, ensuring a calm and positive experience.
- Assist with stock control, ordering materials, and ensuring surgeries are fully equipped.
- Adhere to all practice policies, CQC regulations, and GDC professional standards.
- Support the wider practice team with administrative and reception duties as required.
- GDC registered Dental Nurse
- Experience in general dentistry and supporting a hygienist
- Confident using Software of Excellence (SOE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of cross infection and CQC compliance
- Professional, reliable, and a team player with a caring approach
- Experience in implant and endodontic procedures
- Ability to adapt and assist across multiple surgeries
- Interest in further training and development within dentistry
- Competitive hourly rate £16 per hour
