A well-established mixed dental practice in Leicester is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join the team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. A well-established mixed dental practice in Leicester is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join the team on a 9-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, organised, and confident manager to lead a busy practice and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice
- Oversee day-to-day management of the practice and team
- Manage rotas, diary utilisation, and overall operations
- Key holder responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CQC, GDC, HTM 01-05, and NHS regulations
- Handle patient liaison and complaints
- Manage HR duties including recruitment, training, and appraisals
- Oversee financial performance and support practice budgeting
- Monitor invoices, budgets, and financial targets
- Deliver and maintain excellent patient service standards
- Support dentists and clinicians to maintain a smooth workflow
- Oversee maintenance, servicing, and repairs of dental equipment
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare management (essential)
- Approachable, supportive, and professional
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Confident in delegating and leading a team
- Motivated, adaptable, and hard-working
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of dental compliance and NHS systems
- Proficient with SOE/Exact software (desirable)
- Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality patient care
