Your Role: Primarily Reception, with Occasional Nursing Support
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the buzz of the reception desk but is also comfortable and willing to assist with basic dental nursing tasks when required. Your responsibilities will mainly include:
- Managing the reception desk: answering calls, booking appointments, welcoming patients.
- Ensuring excellent patient communication and a smooth patient journey.
- Practice administration tasks.
- Occasionally assisting in the surgery with chairside support when needed.
- Ideally, experience as a Dental Receptionist.
- A Qualified Dental Nurse who enjoys reception duties OR a Trainee Dental Nurse comfortable primarily with reception work and some nursing tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible attitude.
- The ability to work well within a team.
- Familiarity with Exact software is a bonus!
- Position: Dental Receptionist with Some Nursing Duties
- Working Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days a week between Monday-Friday, plus 1 Saturday a month (8:15 am - 5:15 pm). Flexibility is key as full-time hours may be available during staff holidays, and the hours may increase in the future.
- Salary: Up to £15 - £16 per hour (dependent on experience).
- Benefits: CPDs covered, uniform provided.
- Software: SOE (Exact)
- Parking: No staff parking on-site, but free parking is available nearby (charges apply 12 pm - 2 pm).
- Location: Dulwich (Nearest station: Denmark Hill St.)
