This role offers you the rare chance to take full ownership from day one and work closely with Clinical Support to drive business growth and deliver exceptional patient care.

🦷 About the Practice

This is a well-established, respected private dental clinic with a loyal patient base and strong local reputation. However, with two new clinicians recently onboarded, the business needs a commercially savvy leader who can:
  • Build their books
  • Optimise the practice’s operational flow
  • Increase private treatment uptake
  • Drive patient numbers and revenue growth
You’ll be supported—but not micromanaged—giving you the autonomy to make key decisions that shape the future of the practice.

  • Lead, coach, and support your team to maintain high clinical standards and 5-star patient service
  • Handle HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, rotas, and development plans
Commercial & Financial Oversight
  • Manage all aspects of financial performance: revenue tracking, cost control, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Work closely with clinicians to maximise chair time, build treatment plans, and ensure full diaries
  • Identify opportunities for private treatment uptake and patient base growth
  • Take full ownership of practice KPIs, reporting monthly to senior management
Compliance & Systems
  • Ensure full CQC and GDC compliance
  • Maintain accurate records in SOE Exact dental software
  • Lead on audits, risk assessments, and internal policy implementation
  • Oversee stock control, lab management, and supplier relationships
Patient Experience & Business Development
  • Drive 5-star patient service from first call to treatment follow-up
  • Oversee complaints handling, patient feedback, and service improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns and local outreach to attract new patients
  • Build and maintain patient loyalty, retention, and satisfaction
āœ… What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Practice or Assistant Practice Manager role within a private dental setting
  • Proven commercial awareness and track record of improving business performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and spoken English
  • High level of professionalism, organisation, and initiative
  • Confidence using SOE Exact software (or similar dental management platforms)
  • Strong understanding of dental compliance and CQC requirements
🌟 What’s in it for You?
  • Competitive salary up to Ā£40,000+, depending on experience
  • Free on-site parking
  • Immediate start available – take the reins and hit the ground running
  • Full autonomy to shape your role and make a measurable impact
  • Support from an experienced Director of Clinical Support
  • Career development opportunities as the practice grows
