🦷 The Role
This is a hybrid position, giving you the chance to split your time between dental nursing and treatment coordination. It’s ideal for someone looking to expand their skills while playing a vital role in both the clinical and patient care sides of dentistry.
As a Dental Nurse, you’ll:
- Assist clinicians across a wide range of treatments: General Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Implants, and more.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment to the highest standards.
- Ensure gold-standard cross-infection control and patient safety.
- Provide chairside support, helping clinicians deliver exceptional care.
- Guide patients through their dental journey with care and professionalism.
- Clearly explain treatment plans, options, and next steps.
- Be a trusted point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel informed and confident.
- Support appointment scheduling and treatment organisation.
- Discuss financial options and assist patients in making decisions about their care.
⏰ Hours & Package
- Permanent role – 42.25 hours across just 4 working days
- One late evening per week (until 8 pm)
- One Saturday per month (flexible hours, 8 am–5 pm)
- Salary: £15–£18 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Software: Dentally & SOE (experience preferred but not essential)
- GDC-registered (essential)
- Friendly, professional, and confident when communicating with patients.
- Keen to develop skills in Treatment Coordination (or already experienced).
- Comfortable discussing treatment plans and guiding patients through their options.
- Flexible and a great team player, with previous dental nursing experience.
- Reception / front-of-house experience.
- Familiarity with Dentally or SOE.
- Sedation qualification.
- Enjoy a varied and rewarding role — no two days are the same.
