✨ What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be central to creating a smooth, safe, and positive patient experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside support: Assisting dentists across a wide variety of treatments (general, surgical, cosmetic & sedation)
- Patient care: Helping patients feel calm, comfortable, and informed throughout their visit
- Clinical excellence: Maintaining impeccable infection control standards, preparing and sterilising instruments, setting up surgeries, and ensuring equipment is ready for use
- Team support: Lending a hand at reception when needed, booking appointments, and updating patient records accurately on SOE software
- Surgical & sedation support: Preparing surgery for complex procedures and ensuring everything runs safely and smoothly
- Continuous development: Expanding your skills by working with a diverse team across specialist treatments
- Days: Monday to Friday (4–5 days per week)
- Weekends: 1 in 6 Saturdays (8:15am–1:00pm, paid overtime)
- Hours: 08:15–17:30 daily, with one late surgery on Thursdays (option to work 14:00–20:00)
- Trainees: £12.21 – £14.50 per hour (depending on progress & experience)
- Qualified Nurses: £15 – £16 per hour
- Paid overtime for weekend shifts
- Hands-on exposure to advanced dentistry and support for career growth
- Qualified & GDC-registered (essential for trained nurses) OR a trainee with the right positive, proactive attitude
- Reliable, professional, and able to adapt to different aspects of practice life
