Key Responsibilities
As our Dental Nurse, you will play an essential role in supporting our clinicians and patients throughout their journey with us. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting dentists with a range of treatments, including general dentistry, endodontics, and implant procedures
- Maintaining the highest standards of cross-infection control and ensuring all clinical areas are compliant with CQC requirements
- Preparing treatment rooms in advance of appointments and ensuring they are fully stocked and maintained
- Supporting patients throughout their visits, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
- Accurately updating patient records and supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks
- Taking on reception duties as needed – experience with Exact software is highly desirable
- Being a flexible and proactive team member who can confidently handle both clinical and front-of-house responsibilities
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be GDC registered as a qualified Dental Nurse
- Have previous experience in both chairside assistance and front desk duties (dental reception experience is essential)
- Be an all-rounder – someone who is adaptable, professional, and confident working in a busy and varied practice environment
- Possess excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient care and practice standards
Desirable Experience
- Familiarity with Exact (Software of Excellence) is highly beneficial
