NEW Dental Nurse Opportunity in Oxford - Up to £17ph - Prestigious, Modern and Independent Practice!

Are you an accomplished and dedicated Dental Nurse seeking a pivotal role within a thriving private practice? Do you possess a comprehensive skill set and an unwavering commitment to patient care? We are expanding our exceptional team and have an immediate, permanent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time position, offering a stable and rewarding career path with no out-of-hours or weekend work, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. You'll work a 42-hour week, Monday to Friday, with consistent hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and an extended day until 7:30 PM on Wednesdays. A dedicated one-hour lunch break is provided daily.

What We're Looking For

We require an all-rounder – a Dental Nurse who is not only proficient in the core responsibilities of the role but is also proactive, adaptable, and genuinely "stuck in" to the day-to-day operations of a busy practice. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to a seamless and supportive environment.

While experience with SOE dental software is highly desirable, it is not essential; we are prepared to provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. Your ability to learn quickly and integrate effectively into our existing systems is paramount.

Your Responsibilities

As a key member of our clinical team, your responsibilities will be diverse and engaging. You will provide essential support across a wide spectrum of dental disciplines, including:
  • General Dentistry: Assisting with routine examinations, restorative procedures, and general patient care.
  • Implants: Supporting implant placement and restoration procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and managing instrumentation.
  • Endodontics: Assisting during root canal treatments, preparing materials, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Hygiene Therapist Support: Collaborating closely with our Hygiene Therapists to deliver comprehensive oral health care.
  • Orthodontics & Invisalign: Assisting with orthodontic adjustments, fitting appliances, and supporting Invisalign workflows.
  • Periodontics: Providing assistance during periodontal treatments and maintaining aseptic techniques.
You will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining the clinical environment, ensuring optimal hygiene and sterility standards are upheld at all times. Your meticulous attention to detail will be vital in stock management, instrument preparation, and maintaining accurate patient records within our SOE system. Beyond the clinical aspects, you will contribute to a positive patient experience, offering reassurance and support throughout their journey with us.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £14 to £17 per hour, commensurate with your experience and demonstrated capabilities.
