Dental Nurse / Receptionist – Hackney

We’re working with a lovely, small mixed dental practice in Hackney that is looking for a GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join them on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their working day and would love a role that combines chairside nursing with welcoming patients, reception and general practice administration.

🦷 What Will You Be Doing?
Your duties will include:

• Providing chairside assistance during clinical sessions.
• Welcoming patients and helping create a warm, friendly experience.
• Managing reception enquiries and appointments.
• Supporting general administration and the smooth running of the practice.
• Working closely with the Principal to keep everything organised.

Clinical sessions will take place either in the morning or afternoon, with the rest of your day spent on reception. The practice understands the importance of having enough time to complete your tasks properly, with time allocated for reception and administrative duties.

• Salary: £16 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with some flexibility
• Contract: Permanent, full-time

• Start date: ASAP, with flexibility for the right person

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and adaptable Dental Nurse who enjoys working with patients and is happy to get involved in different aspects of practice life.

• GDC registration is essential.
• Previous reception experience would be beneficial but isn't essential.
• R4 experience would be an advantage.
• A positive attitude and a team-focused approach are key.
