Are you a passionate Dental Nurse who is looking for more than just a job? Do you want to be part of a friendly and supportive team where your skills are appreciated, your hard work is recognised, and your professional development is encouraged? If so, we’d love to welcome you into our growing, multidisciplinary dental practice!

We’re a well-established, mixed practice offering a wide range of dental treatments – from general dentistry and routine check-ups to advanced procedures like orthodontics, endodontics, implants, and oral surgery. We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse who can step confidently into the role, adapt easily across different treatment areas, and thrive in a varied and hands-on environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a clinical setting where no two days are the same, where you’ll be involved in everything from assisting with specialist procedures to supporting with reception duties when needed. We're looking for someone who is practical, professional, and above all, a team player.

🦷 About the Role:
As our new Dental Nurse, you’ll be a vital part of the clinical team – working closely with our dentists and specialists to deliver a smooth, comfortable, and high-quality experience to every patient who walks through our doors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:
  • Assisting with a wide range of dental treatments – including general dentistry, ortho, endo, implants, and surgical extractions
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all instruments and equipment are fully sterilised and ready for each patient
  • Maintaining rigorous cross-infection control standards in accordance with CQC requirements
  • Updating patient records and clinical notes accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting the team by being flexible – helping at reception if needed, or jumping in to assist another nurse
  • Helping patients feel comfortable and at ease, offering reassurance and a friendly face throughout their visit
You will also be expected to work occasional weekends (approximately once a month) when our oral surgeon is in for surgical extractions – typically just for a few hours, planned well in advance.

🧰 What We’re Looking For:
This role is ideal for someone who’s already gained some experience in dental nursing and is now looking for a new environment where they can grow, contribute, and feel like a key part of the team. You don’t need to know everything – we’re happy to support further training – but we do ask for a solid foundation and a willingness to get stuck in.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • GDC registration as a qualified Dental Nurse – this is essential
  • Experience working in a clinical dental environment, ideally with exposure to multiple treatment types
  • Previous reception experience in a dental setting – you’ll occasionally support the front-of-house team, so this is important
  • Confidence using dental software – we use Dentally, so experience with this is a plus, though not a deal-breaker
  • A team-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken English must be strong
  • A professional, organised, and calm approach to your work – even when the day gets busy!
💡 Why Join Us?

We believe that a great Dental Nurse is the backbone of any successful practice – and we don’t take that lightly. When you join our team, you’ll be part of a welcoming, supportive group of professionals who genuinely care about their patients and each other. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of treatments, learn from experienced clinicians, and continue growing your skill set in a busy but rewarding environment.

Here’s what we offer:
  • A competitive salary based on your experience and contributions (£12.50–15 per hour)
  • A structured workweek with consistent hours and a guaranteed 1-hour lunch break (which we honour – or pay you for!)
  • Support for your professional development – if you’re keen to train in new areas or expand your role, we’ll support that
  • A respectful, team-oriented culture where everyone plays their part and feels valued
  • The chance to work alongside talented specialists and gain exposure to high-level clinical care
  • Fair expectations and open communication – we work together, and we lift each other up
