🦷 Dental Nurse Opportunity – Come and Be Part of Our Supportive Team! 🦷

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Dental Nurse who takes pride in delivering excellent care to patients? Do you want to work in a practice where your skills are truly valued, your contributions are appreciated, and your professional development is encouraged? If so, we would love to welcome you to our team.

We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse (or a trainee with good experience) to join our friendly, well-established dental practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm and supportive environment where teamwork is at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

As a Dental Nurse in our practice, you will play a vital part in ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care. From the moment a patient steps into our practice, your calm, reassuring manner will help put them at ease. You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists, providing chairside assistance, anticipating the needs of the clinician, and ensuring that treatments run smoothly and efficiently.

Your duties will be varied and rewarding. You’ll help to prepare and maintain the clinical environment, ensuring that surgeries are clean, well-organised, and fully equipped. You’ll also assist with decontamination and infection control procedures, always upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Accurate record-keeping is another key part of your role, as well as supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. Most importantly, you’ll provide outstanding care and empathy to our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable, well-informed, and looked after at every stage of their visit.

What We Offer:

✅ Full-time position: 43.25 hours per week (including one late evening on Mondays, working until 7:30 pm)
✅ Part-time options available — we’re happy to discuss flexibility to help you achieve a good work-life balance
✅ Minimal weekend working (incredibly rare) — enjoy your weekends free for family, friends, and hobbies
✅ Competitive hourly rate of £14.25 for qualified nurses (with some flexibility depending on your experience)
✅ 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
Your birthday off as an extra day of paid leave — because you deserve it! 🎂
✅ GDC registration and indemnity insurance covered by the practice
✅ Free on-site parking for your convenience

Key Responsibilities:

🦷 Chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures
🦷 Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all instruments and materials are ready
🦷 Maintaining rigorous infection control and decontamination processes
🦷 Accurately completing and updating patient records
🦷 Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their appointments
🦷 Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and smooth running of the practice

What We’re Looking For:

🌟 A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
🌟 A reliable team player who takes pride in their work
🌟 GDC registration (or significant trainee experience with a view to qualifying soon)
🌟 Strong communication and organisational skills

This is an exciting opportunity to join a practice where you can develop your skills, build great relationships with colleagues and patients alike, and truly enjoy coming to work each day.
