We’re recruiting for a Lead Dental Nurse to join a private specialist dental practice in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised Dental Nurse looking to develop their leadership skills within a supportive clinical environment.
The Role
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical team.
- Providing high-quality chairside assistance within a specialist dental setting.
- Maintaining excellent cross-infection control and clinical standards.
- Supporting colleagues and helping ensure efficient surgery preparation and organisation.
- Contributing to a positive patient experience and maintaining compliance with practice policies.
- GDC registration.
- Strong dental nursing experience.
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to support a clinical team.
- Knowledge of Exact would be advantageous, although the practice uses Dentally.
- Location: Southampton
- Salary: Up to £17 per hour, depending on experience
- Contract: Permanent, full-time
- Working days: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm
- Software: Dentally
- Start date: ASAP
- GDC registration, DBS and indemnity fees paid.
