We are recruiting for a friendly dental practice in Long Buckby, Northamptonshire, seeking either an experienced GDC-registered Dental Nurse or an enthusiastic individual looking to train as a Dental Nurse.
This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team of clinicians, hygienists and dental nurses, with exposure to a variety of treatments, including general and cosmetic dentistry.

Working Hours
- Monday–Friday: 8:30am–5:30pm
- One-hour unpaid lunch break
- Weekend on-call rota, approximately one weekend per year
- Occasional cover may be required at a sister practice in Kibworth
Qualified Dental Nurse:
- GDC registered
- Fully immunised, including Hepatitis B
- Ideally 2 years' chairside experience
- Experience with Dentally desirable, although training can be provided
- Customer service experience preferred
- Enthusiastic, motivated and professional
- Passionate about developing a career in dentistry
- Willing to complete the required dental nursing qualification, including study outside working hours
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas and equipment
- Supporting clinicians during dental treatments
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Preparing patients and materials for treatments
- Supporting and reassuring patients
- Assisting with reception and administrative duties when required
- Managing appointments, recalls, telephone calls and emails
- Handling patient payments and checking laboratory work
- £12.71–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience
