Your Role as a Float Nurse:

As our float Dental Nurse, you'll be the dependable, go-to team member covering where needed—whether that's chairside with our Implantologist, supporting hygiene sessions, jumping into decontamination, or filling in during sickness and holidays. Your day-to-day might look different, but one thing is constant: you'll be central to keeping the clinical environment running smoothly.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Supporting a range of clinicians including general dentists, hygienists, implantologists, and orthodontists.
  • Chairside nursing for routine and specialist procedures, including Implants, Endo, Orthodontics, and Facial Aesthetics.
  • Maintaining impeccable cross-infection control and decontamination standards.
  • Efficiently preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment.
  • Occasionally stepping in at reception – strong admin and communication skills are essential.
  • Upholding excellent patient care and communication, especially in fast-paced or changing environments.
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
  • GDC registered and have at least 1 year of dental nursing experience.
  • A confident all-rounder with a flexible and proactive mindset.
  • Happy to get stuck in wherever needed, often stepping into a new role at short notice.
  • Experienced with reception duties and able to keep calm and organised under pressure.
  • A clear and articulate communicator with strong written and spoken English.
What’s in it for you?

We believe happy teams make for happy patients. That’s why we offer:
  • No weekend or out-of-hours shifts – truly supportive of your work-life balance
  • Competitive hourly rate between £14.35 – £15.00
  • A varied and rewarding role that keeps each day engaging
  • A collaborative and professional team environment
  • Opportunities to support across diverse dental specialties, broadening your skills and experience
  • Modern practice equipped with SFD software and a full scope of treatments
If you’re looking to make an impact, grow your skills across a broad range of specialties, and enjoy a role that gives you flexibility and balance, this is the opportunity for you.
