Dental Nurse – Full Time | No Weekends | Mixed, Multi-Specialist Practice | London, Brixton

We’re currently looking for a friendly, capable, and proactive Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team in a well-established mixed practice. You’ll be working across a wide spectrum of treatments – from everyday general dentistry to advanced specialist care – alongside clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes and building lasting patient relationships.

The Role at a Glance:

• Position: Dental Nurse
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Working Days: Monday to Friday only (no weekends, no out-of-hours)
• Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (with one late shift on Thursdays: 10:00am – 7:30pm)

This role offers the perfect blend of structure and variety. You’ll support a dynamic clinical team, including opportunities to assist with our in-house Endodontist. Our practice covers a range of services including General Dentistry, Specialist Orthodontics, Implants, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, and Invisalign – giving you valuable experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality chairside assistance across a wide range of dental procedures
• Maintaining the highest standards of cross-infection control and cleanliness
• Preparing surgeries before and after treatments
• Handling instruments and equipment efficiently and in line with protocols
• Recording and updating patient notes on SFD dental software
• Supporting the reception team when needed – previous front desk experience is essential
• Being a calm, reassuring presence for patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for at every stage of their visit

Requirements:

• Qualified Dental Nurse (GDC registered) OR a trainee with at least 6 months’ experience currently enrolled on a Dental Course
• Prior experience as a dental receptionist is essential
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• We are unable to provide sponsorship.

Salary & Benefits:

• Trainee Rate: £12.50 per hour
• Qualified Rate: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
