📌 Your Role as a Dental Nurse
As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting a wide range of treatments and ensuring every patient receives exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include:
Clinical Support
- Providing efficient, high-quality chairside assistance across general and specialist treatments
- Assisting with orthodontic adjustments, implant surgeries, restorative procedures, and endodontic treatments
- Preparing surgeries for each procedure, ensuring all instruments, materials, and equipment are ready and sterile
- Maintaining impeccable cross-infection control in line with HTM 01-05 and practice protocols
- Upholding GDC, CQC, and practice standards at all times
- Undertaking decontamination processes to ensure safety and compliance
- Delivering a warm, reassuring presence throughout patient visits
- Supporting nervous patients and ensuring comfort before, during, and after treatment
- Providing post-treatment guidance where appropriate
- Managing stock levels, ordering materials, and keeping surgery areas organised
- Maintaining and accurately updating patient records using EXACT
- Supporting reception or admin tasks when required to keep the practice running smoothly
🗓 Working Hours
- Monday: 08:30 – 19:30
- Tuesday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30
- Friday: 08:30 – 15:50
- Saturday: 08:30 – 13:30 (only 1 in every 6 weeks on a rota)
- £13.52 – £15.00 per hour, based on experience
- Permanent, Private Practice position
- Fully qualified Dental Nurse
- GDC Registered
- We are unable to accept overseas applicants for this role
- Experience with EXACT dental software
- Interest in orthodontics, implants, or endodontics
- Fully paid CPD, helping you grow and progress
- Ongoing training and opportunities to develop specialist skills
