We are recruiting an experienced, reliable Dental Nurse to join our multi-site team! This is a permanent role within a busy mixed NHS and private environment, supporting both general and specialist dentistry.

We are recruiting an experienced, reliable Dental Nurse to join our multi-site team! This is a permanent role within a busy mixed NHS and private environment, supporting both general and specialist dentistry.
Hours & Working Pattern
- Mon–Fri (part-time flexibility considered)
- 08:30–17:30
- Mandatory Saturdays with Orthodontist:
- Every other weekend
- 09:00–14:00/15:00
- Can be arranged as part of a 4-day week arrangement
This position requires a dependable Dental Nurse who is confident working across a varied clinical workload. You will support:
- General Dentistry
- Specialist Orthodontics
- Implants & Advanced Implantology
- Endodontics
- Invisalign
- Periodontics
- Facial Aesthetics
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance for general and specialist procedures
- Prepare, clean, and maintain surgeries and equipment
- Follow cross-infection and decontamination protocols accurately
- Support Orthodontist clinics, including alternate Saturdays
- Manage stock, instruments, and materials
- Record clinical notes and ensure accurate data entry (SOE)
- Deliver clear communication and reassurance to patients
- Work efficiently with clinicians and wider practice staff
- Maintain compliance with GDC guidelines and practice policies
- GDC registration – essential
- Strong written and spoken English
- Confident communicator with a professional, patient-focused manner
- Able to work across multiple sites within Hemel Hempstead
- SOE experience (desirable)
- £14–£17 per hour (higher rate for additional duties)
